Beta commitments

Five commitments, in the words we shipped them. Each maps to a community pain we designed against — this page is the contract you hold us to.

1 — Prepaid wallet = hard cap

Your wallet is prepaid and cannot go negative. Runaway billing — the number-one complaint class across inference providers — is structurally impossible here: when the balance reaches zero, requests stop.

2 — Price you see is price you pay — no credit-load fees

Credits are bought at face value. Some marketplaces charge a fee every time you load credit; we do not. The pricing page's per-token table is the whole bill.

3 — No mid-term changes to purchased credits

Bought credits keep their terms. If pricing ever changes for new purchases, the credits you already hold are untouched — no devaluation, no expiry surprise.

4 — Idempotency keys for inference — nobody has them, including OpenAI

A retried request must not double-bill or double-generate. We shipped Idempotency-Key support from the first release — the idempotency guide has the semantics and runnable examples.

5 — Response consistency is our invisibility contract

Every response passes through our mediation layer, which normalizes the envelope across every provider we route to: same shapes, same fields, same usage objects, whatever happened behind the curtain. Aggregator shape-drift is a solved complaint class elsewhere; here the class of bug cannot occur. And where limits exist, we publish them honestly — see rate posture.
